LONGONE membrane filter plates deliver secondary diaphragm squeezing after standard filtration — reducing cake moisture, shortening cycle time and increasing throughput for wastewater, mining, chemical and food processing applications.
A membrane filter plate (also called a diaphragm filter plate or diaphragm squeeze plate) is a filter press plate with a built-in flexible diaphragm. After standard pressure filtration forms a cake, compressed air or pressurized water inflates the membrane — applying uniform force across the entire cake surface to squeeze out residual moisture. The result is a drier, more homogeneous cake that is easier to discharge, wash and dispose of.
Pump drives slurry into the chamber. Liquid passes through the filter cloth; solids build into a cake at 6–16 bar.
Membrane inflates with air or water at 7–30 bar, compressing the cake evenly for additional moisture removal.
Optional cake washing or air blowdown. Uniform cake thickness ensures even liquid distribution.
Press opens; the drier, more homogeneous cake releases cleanly with less manual cleaning needed.
Every application has different slurry chemistry, pressure conditions and equipment constraints. LONGONE's in-house mold tooling and engineering team allows us to manufacture membrane filter plates from scratch rather than adapting standard stock — so your plates fit precisely and perform reliably from day one.
